A commanding saxophonist with deep musical roots, Martin brings soul, energy, and sophistication to every performance with Glacier Blue. His expressive saxophone voice, paired with charismatic background vocals, adds depth and dimension to the band’s sound.

As a young musician, Martin had the opportunity to perform behind jazz icon Clark Terry and continued to hone his craft learning from the likes of legendary trumpeter Bobby Shew, saxophonist O'Hara Spearman in small-combo settings. These formative experiences shaped his disciplined musicianship and stylistic versatility.

Having performed across the country—from St. Louis and Massachusetts to New York and now California—Martin is a quietly formidable presence on stage. His playing seamlessly blends smooth jazz and bebop sensibilities with a funky, R&B-driven soul, delivered with balance, precision, and a sense of feeling. Grounded by a strong commitment to life balance, Martin’s tone and execution reflect a mature artist who plays with purpose, passion, and authenticity.
